Justine Lindsay, 29, made the announcement on Instagram at the end of May about joining the Carolina Panthers’ cheerleading squad.

The post on social media also served as her coming out to everyone but her family.
“I would like to thank the beautiful and talented dancers who supported me along the way alumni TopCats family and friends for your love and support. I would not have gotten to this moment in my life if it wasn’t for the support,” she said in her post. “This is a moment I will never forget and I cannot wait to show you all what this girl has to bring.”
In an interview, the Top Cats squad director said Lindsay disclosed she was transgender on her application, but her talent landed her the gig.
