CONCORD, N.C. — A car smashed into a Concord sports bar Friday afternoon.
Fire officials said there were no injuries at Joe's Sports Bar and Grill on Exchange Street Northwest.
The sports bar was evacuated, officials said.
Despite a hole in the wall, owners at Joe's Sports Bar and Grill say they are still open for business.
The car was towed away, but a hole and stacks of debris were left behind.
Police said a driver was trying to park their car, but mistakenly pressed on the gas, rather than the brake, and plowed into the business.
Police said the two people in the car were not injured.
Investigators have not yet said if any charges will be filed.
