Each family also got to take home a full second Thanksgiving meal to prepare at home on the holiday thanks to Food Lion.
Newton, ever the entertainer, led the kids in a dance contest, the mannequin challenge and a game of musical chairs.
Newton's teammate, Kawann Short, also held Thanksgiving celebration Monday at Lineberger Orthodontics in Elizabeth to meet some special patients.
The Sacks for Smiles program offers free orthodontics to a child in need every time Short records a sack.
