CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This California burger chain opens its first Charlotte restaurant this week.

The Habit Burger Grill plans to open its doors on Thursday at 209 S. Kings Drive, across from Target in midtown Charlotte. It is the brand’s first restaurant in the Tar Heel State.
The first 50 customers in line that day will receive a limited edition 50th anniversary T-shirt and free Charburgers with cheese for a year.
