MATTHEWS, N.C. — After its nearly $10 billion acquisition of Family Dollar in 2015, Dollar Tree Inc. has finally sold off the brand’s former Matthews headquarters building.
Last week, Dollar Tree sold the 354,518-square-foot building to The Silverman Group for $10.5 million.

Silverman, a New Jersey-based real estate firm that is active in the Charlotte industrial market, will make significant renovations to modernize the building, which is currently vacant. Potential future uses for the building include distribution and light manufacturing.
