Crews were able to move the cars involved around 6:45 a.m., but there are still low-hanging traffic lights that need to be repaired.
Paramedics said one person was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with minor injuries.
Police told Channel 9 that repairs will take most of the day because a power pole was broken during the crash.
