And these are games you won’t want to miss. Here’s the schedule and how to watch:

  • Jan. 27 Charlotte Hornets vs. Los Angeles Lakers - 7 p.m. on Channel 9.
  • Jan. 31 Charlotte Hornets vs. Los Angeles Clippers - 7 p.m. on TV64
  • Feb. 5 Charlotte Hornets vs. Milwaukee Bucks - 7 p.m. on TV 64
  • Feb. 27 Charlotte Hornets at Dallas Mavericks - 8:30 p.m. TV 64
  • March 3 Charlotte Hornets vs. Golden State Warriors - 7 p.m. on Channel 9

The announcement marks the return to over-the-air broadcast for the first time since the 2007-08 season.

“We’re thrilled to partner with WSOC-TV and TV 64 to make our FanDuel Sports Southeast broadcasts available for free,” said Hornets President of Business Operations Shelly Cayette-Weston. “We are dedicated to enhancing the fan experience, strengthening the connection with our passionate fanbase and expanding the reach of our broadcasts. This is a great opportunity to bring our games to a wider audience and increase the exposure of our games.”

Cox Media Group Charlotte Vice President/General Manager Cedric Thomas said: “This partnership brings together two iconic brands that have community at their core. We’re proud to make these entertaining games accessible to everyone we can reach in the Carolinas.”

Channel 9 and TV64 will simulcast FanDuel Sports Southeast’s production of the games. Eric Collins will be the play-by-play announcer, with Hornets legend Dell Curry serving as analyst and Shannon Spake hosting and reporting from the courtside.
