Brew Lovers Rejoice! April is officially ‘Beer Month' in North Carolina

An Ohio man is only going to drink beer for Lent, with no soid foods and only occasional glasses of water.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Gov. Roy Cooper was in Asheville Thursday and announced that April is officially “Beer Month” in North Carolina.

The event was a celebration of the state’s 300-plus craft breweries and their positive impact on North Carolina’s economy.

The proclamation encourages residents and visitors to explore the world of craft beer.
