‘Botox Bandit' deported to Canada by ICE

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police in Huntersville said Wednesday that immigration officials deported the woman wanted for three salon robberies to Canada.

Huntersville police said they still have an active warrant for Melissa Cummings and added that she would face charges if she tries to re-enter the U.S.

Cummings is wanted for allegedly visiting three different spas and getting expensive Botox treatments before telling employees she left her credit cards in her car so that she could leave the store and never return.

According to the stores, Cummings was using the name Melissa Mancini and Sarah Mancini.

According to court records, she pleaded guilty to possession of stolen goods in a district court. She then appealed to superior court and the case was dismissed.

ICE officials have not yet responded to requests for comment.
