CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A bomb threat forced officials to evacuate people Tuesday afternoon from the Mecklenburg County Courthouse.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police notified the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office that someone made a bomb threat.
Deputies and K-9 units conducted a search of the courthouse. An all clear was given just after 2 p.m. and people were let back inside the courthouse.
