Bojangles looks to open restaurants in Las Vegas, other western markets

The Bojangles chicken-and-biscuits chain got its start in Charlotte in 1977.

CHARLOTTE — Bojangles is headed westward, with 30 new restaurants in the pipeline.

The Charlotte-based chain — known for its chicken, biscuits and sweet tea — has signed a multi-unit development deal with LVP Restaurant Group to open 20 restaurants in Las Vegas.

It also will develop 10 additional stores at 10 TravelCenters of America locations in western markets under LVP Petroleum.
