CHARLOTTE — Several restaurants with North Carolina roots — including Charlotte’s own Bojangles — have landed on a list of “10 regional fast-food chains you need to try.”
The list was published July 28 as part of USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. That feature has different lists throughout the year that highlight restaurants and bars, travel destinations, hotels, spas and more.
Bojangles, founded here in 1977, comes in at No. 10 on the list of readers’ favorite fast-food spots — and at No. 7 on a separate list of “10 best restaurants for a quick and satisfying breakfast.”
Topping both lists is Biscuitville, a family-run restaurant chain based in Greensboro.
