CHARLOTTE — Mecklenburg County Board of Elections voted Tuesday to make most of Charlotte’s major stadiums and arenas early voting sites, which include the Bank of America Stadium, Spectrum Center and Bojangles’ Coliseum.

Mecklenburg County's early voting sites will need to be signed off by the state. Thirty-three sites were picked in total.
Mecklenburg County residents can vote at any early-voting site.

City officials contacted the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections and offered Spectrum and Bojangles’ as early-voting sites. Bank of America Stadium officials also contacted the county Board of Elections about being included as an early voting site.
