CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A key building in the Charlotte skyline has a new owner.
Bank of America sold the 47-story Hearst Tower to a Florida company for $250 million.
The bank put the building on the market back in February in an effort to streamline its operations.
The bank will still lease a third of the office space for the next 10 years.
The building opened in November 2002 and is the 4th-tallest building in Charlotte.
