CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The NBA will discuss Thursday whether to bring its all-star game to Charlotte in 2019.
The all-star game was originally set to be in Charlotte this year, but league officials decided to move it to New Orleans because of the controversial House Bill 2.
Now that the bill has been repealed, sources said the board of governors are planning to address the 2019 game at its meeting.
It’s unclear if a final decision will be made at the meeting.
The only other time Charlotte hosted the NBA All-Star Game was in 1991. That game was played at the Charlotte Coliseum.
