CHARLOTTE — Blue Blaze Brewing has been granted a reprieve — albeit a temporary one — in its fight to remain in its current space, The Charlotte Observer reports.
The west Charlotte brewery is engaged in a legal battle with its landlord, Atlanta-based Portman Holdings, which is seeking to evict Blue Blaze over a lease dispute.
The case is playing out as Portman is underway on an adaptive-reuse project that will transform the 100-plus-year-old Savona Mill at the site into offices, retail space and outdoor amenities.
