CHARLOTTE — A pizza joint in Charlotte’s Optimist Park neighborhood is among four eateries in the Carolinas to make Southern Living magazine’s list of “The South’s Best New Restaurants Of 2023.”
Bird Pizzeria, at 510 E. 15th St. just north of uptown, comes in at No. 13 on the list of 25 restaurants.
Since debuting in December 2021, Bird has quickly gained a following.
