BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. — A woman driving in Beaufort County hit a catfish Wednesday night, cracking her SUV’s windshield, WCTI reported.
Rhesa Walston, of Washington, said she hit the catfish while she was on her way home.
She said a bird dropped the fish and it hit her windshield on the passenger side.
“That bird’s got a fish, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s a catfish,’ and about that time, he drops it, and it lands on my windshield, and tiny glass just goes everywhere," said Walston.
The fish was confirmed dead after the crash.
“Look out for fish, 'cause you never know when you’re gonna see one,” said Walston.
