McGregor won $10,000 which will help her expand to provide free social and emotional learning to K-12 students in Mecklenburg County.
“I can help students that are in these Title I schools because SYDKIMYL is pretty much in Title I schools. But now I can give mental health services to these students that really need these mental health and these counseling services,” McGregor said.
The BeyGood Foundation is awarding $10,000 grants to 10 female-owned businesses in each city on the tour.
