BELMONT, N.C. — The new normal means that celebrations like graduation are taking a different shape. High schools and colleges are finding ways to keep those celebrations going while staying safe.
Belmont Abbey College did that Saturday with a virtual graduation for its students.

“One I miss them. I really wish they were here with us in person, but you know we make the most and this is part of life,” said college president Bill Thierfelder.
