CHARLOTTE — A banking giant with major expansion plans in Charlotte will open a new branch here, according to a filing with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. expects to open a branch at 909 N. Wendover Road in Charlotte. A Chase spokesperson confirmed the filing but declined to provide more details on the new location until the OCC application is approved.
Chase also plans to open three more local branches. Those locations are at 8012 Northlake Creek Drive in north Charlotte; Rocky River Road and Farmington Ridge Parkway in northeast Charlotte; and Albemarle and Rocky River Church roads in Mint Hill.
The OCC filings are the latest from Chase as it continues to roll out retail branches across the Carolinas.
