Bank of America closing some drive-thru windows

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bank of America will no longer have drive-thru bank tellers at several branches in the Charlotte area.

Crews have already begun removing the drive-up windows at some branches. A few of the drive-thrus closed Aug. 5 and more are scheduled to close Sept. 9.

Drive-up ATMs will still be available 24 hours a day.
