LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — An autopsy report for a Lincoln County woman who was thrown from her truck and left to die on Highway 150 was released Friday.
The report said Sherry Tobeler, 54, died from head injuries.
Police said Derek Williams, his girlfriend Alesha Werner and his mother, Patricia Stroupe, got into an argument with Tobeler. They threw her from her truck and took off.
Williams was charged with second-degree murder. Werner and Stroupe were charged with accessory after the fact.
