CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities arrested and charged a 54-year-old man in Cleveland County Saturday after someone was shot and killed, officials said Monday.
The deadly shooting happened Thursday on Harrell Road near Boiling Springs.
David Allen Starnes was arrested at the Food Lion in Forest City, police said.
He was charged with first-degree murder and was not given a bond.
There is no known relationship between Starnes and the victim, Claude Bailey.
