FORT MILL — A motorcyclist died in a wreck on Friday near Fort Mill, authorities said.
Officials said Nicholas Columbo, 28, was driving a 2000 Kawasaki when the motorcycle went off the right side, struck a construction barrel before it crashed on Hensley Road in Fort Mill Friday.
Columbo was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Officials said Columbo was wearing a helmet.
The crash is being investigated by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
