WILMINGTON, N.C. — A waterfront mansion in Wilmington has survived Hurricane Florence and is back on the market, courtesy of an auction that begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Concierge Auctions, the company facilitating the sale, says the 6,500-square-foot home escaped the storm without sustaining damage.
That means interested buyers will have a shot at bidding on the home, which sits on Bradley Creek, across the Intracoastal Waterway from Wrightsville Beach.
The auction had previously been scheduled for Sept. 18-21 but was delayed because of the storm.
