CHARLOTTE — Atlanta-based Monday Night Brewing is nearing completion of its South End space.
When the craft brewery opens at 2217 S. Tryon St. this spring, it will be the brand’s fifth location. Co-founder Jeff Heck said he chose Charlotte for the most recent expansion because he thinks it is the type of city where Monday Night will fit in seamlessly.

“We look for cities with vibrant communities where we think we can be a part of something special,” he said. “We’ve had our eyes on Charlotte for years, and we found this location in South End that had Monday Night written all over it.”
Monday Night Brewing announced its plans to break into the Charlotte market last July with an 8,500-square-foot taproom and 40,000 square feet of outdoor space in South End.
