Asian bistro is latest restaurant to open at Riverbend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There’s a new restaurant open in a fast-growing area of the city. Rai Lay Asian Bistro is the latest retail tenant to open shop at Riverbend Village, a sprawling mixed-use development in the Mountain Island area of northwest Charlotte.

And it’s the latest venture by the ownership behind Rai Lay Thai Cuisine on South Boulevard and Deejai Thai Restaurant on Providence Road.

The bistro at Riverbend serves up Thai flavors as well as other Asian cuisine, from sushi to Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. There’s also a full bar.
