CHARLOTTE — The city of Charlotte has a new interim city attorney.
City council voted 8 to 3 to appoint Anthony Fox to the role.
Fox is a partner with Parker Poe Law Firm.

He will start on January 1 and replace the outgoing attorney Patrick Baker.
This is not the same Anthony Fox who served as mayor of Charlotte.
