HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Yet another large mixed-use project is being targeted for Huntersville.
Raleigh-based Magnolia Development Co. is planning a project on an 84-acre site just off Davidson-Concord Road and south of Hopewell. Town documents show it would include 376 apartments, 71 townhomes, 82 single-family homes and 42,500 square feet of commercial space.

The Huntersville Town Board voted last week to schedule a public hearing for July 19 for the project’s rezoning request. Should it move forward, the development would add to a growing pipeline of mixed-use projects targeting Huntersville in recent months.
