CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The $2.3 trillion infrastructure spending plan revealed this week by President Joe Biden could spur new rail connections for Queen City denizens, according to an outline of potential routes released by Amtrak.
Riders from Charlotte would be able to take trains to Wilmington on the North Carolina coast as well as Asheville in the mountains of the western part of the state, among other destinations.
