CHARLOTTE, N.C. — American Airlines is adding new tropical flight options at Charlotte Douglas International Airport for travelers this winter.
AA, which controls about 90% of air traffic at CLT, will add a third nonstop daily flight from the Charlotte airport to Nassau, Bahamas. It will fly passengers on an Airbus A320.
The new seasonal flight will begin Dec. 19, running through April 1.
Also during that period, AA will increase access from Charlotte to Barbados with new daily, seasonal flight service. Currently, American only flies from CLT to Grantley Adams International Airport on weekends.
