CHARLOTTE, N.C. — American Airlines flight attendants protested outside of Charlotte Douglas Airport during one of the busiest travel weeks of the year.
Dozens of flight attendants held up signs reading "Wake up, America!"

The American Airlines flight attendants' union is trying to raise awareness about how they claim the airline treats its employees.
"We hope for a better outcome as a result of our actions here today,” organizer Ian Funderburg said. “This is an informational picket, not a work action."
Organizers said they wanted to send a message.
It’s been 25 years since American Airlines flight attendants last walked out, closing the airline down.
