MEDINA COUNTY, Texas — A Mooresville man who has warrants out for his arrest for sex crimes against minors was wanted in Texas in connection with an active Amber Alert in the Lone Star State, ABC affiliate KSAT reported Tuesday night.
Over the weekend, the Medina County Sheriff’s Office in Texas said that deputies found Jonathan Wright and his three children during a search Sunday night.
They were located in a field, the sheriff’s office said.
Wright and his children were in the sheriff’s office custody.
Everyone appeared to be in good health, officials said. The Amber Alert that was issued was canceled.

Wright is also wanted on several out-of-state warrants and was believed to be traveling on foot with his three children in the Rio Medina or Castroville area.
Sheriff Randy Brown said last week that Wright was traveling with his wife and five children when their car broke down. The family took off on foot and decided to live off the land, KSAT reported.
Wright’s wife and his two older children were seen walking to a store in Rio Medina, Brown said. A deputy stopped them and found out the family was on the run.
The wife told police Wright has multiple warrants out of Mooresville for sex crimes against minors, KSAT reported.
Brown said Wright’s children are not associated with those warrants.
