CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Monday kicks off the Amazon Prime Day.
The event starts at 3 p.m. Eastern time and will continue for the following 36 hours.
Experts say Prime members can "pre-shop" Sunday to get the best deals by putting items you want in your cart.
Monday, once the Prime Day event starts, the items will drop to the discounted price.
Amazon is expected to slash prices on its own goods, electronics, clothing, and furniture.
Other major stores are partaking in the day and offering one-day sales.
Stores such as Best Buy, Macy's, Walmart, and Target are offering their own "Black Friday in July" deals.
