CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Viewers have welcomed Allison Latos into their homes every day starting at 4:30 a.m. during Eyewitness News Daybreak on WSOC-TV, at 7 a.m. during Eyewitness News on TV-64 and at noon for Eyewitness News Midday on WSOC-TV for over four years.
Now, Latos will move to evenings anchoring Eyewitness News at 5:30 p.m. with Scott Wickersham and Eyewitness News at 10 p.m. on TV-64.

“Allison is a valuable team player,” said Julie Szulczewski, WSOC-TV News Director. “Her new role will allow for a continued focus on investigative reporting.”
Latos has done a number of extensive investigations. She spent days embedded with undercover officers as they tracked the surge of heroin within the Charlotte area.
The North Carolina Association of Broadcasters recently named Latos Anchor of the Year for 2015. She has earned Emmy nominations for her investigative work on food stamp fraud and coverage of the 2014 snowstorm in Charlotte.
