CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Alcohol Law Enforcement officers performed a large drug and alcohol bus near the University of North Carolina Charlotte's campus last weekend.
One suspect, 20-year-old Shariff Oliphant, had $1,400 cash, pot and a 40-caliber gun.
Agents arrested 42 people and filed 65 charges -- 31 of those picked up were on alcohol related charges such as underage drinking.
"What we have seen is an increase in these house parties where alcohol is being introduced to minors," ALE officer mark Lesassier said.
