ALBEMARLE, N.C. — Authorities in Albemarle and Stanly County seized 532 grams of meth Thursday in the parking lot of the ABC store in Albemarle, according to officials.
A drug investigation led detectives to make the bust.
Rakeem Johnta Baldwin, 21, was charged with felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling as a place to sell a controlled substance, two counts of felony trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting public officer.
He was taken to the Stanly County jail and received a $250,000 secured bond.
Taryn Elisia Rushing, 18, was charged with felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling as a place to sell a controlled substance, two counts of felony trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine.
She received a $250,000 secured bond.

The street value of the meth was about $50,000.
Authorities also confiscated $1,271.
