CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It may be legal in some states, but at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, marijuana will not fly.
Washington state resident Edward Brown was reportedly arrested on June 26 with 35 pounds of marijuana inside his luggage.
Officials said Brown made it inside the terminal building before the drugs were discovered.
It is not the first time authorities at the airport have made a drug arrest.
Channel 9 reported in February about a Jamaican man who pleaded guilty to drug charges after being caught with 6 pounds of cocaine at the airport late last year.
