Advocates push for professional soccer team in Queen City

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Advocates say professional soccer would elevate Charlotte to a worldwide stage.

That could mean transforming the Bank of America Stadium into a soccer field to possibly help land a deal as the Carolina Panthers weigh the options.
