CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Queen City’s rapid increase in hotel options continues this weekend with the opening of the AC Hotel Charlotte SouthPark on Saturday.

As CBJ previously reported, JWM Family Enterprises is behind that 162-room hotel. JWM — a private hotel venture of Marriott International Inc. — also owns the adjacent Charlotte Marriott SouthPark and nearby Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark.
“We couldn’t be more excited to become a part of Charlotte’s SouthPark community,” said Taylor Lugar, general manager of the AC Hotel Charlotte SouthPark. “While our hotel will service out-of-town guests, we invite the community to join us in the AC Lounge, to gather in our collaborative spaces, and take in the best skyline view in south Charlotte from our eighth-floor rooftop bar and terrace — the first in SouthPark.”
