AA announced on Tuesday two route additions out of Charlotte Douglas — one to Latin America and the other to the Midwest area of the U.S.
Beginning June 8, American Airlines Group Inc. will add a weekly flight between CLT and Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. AA will fly passengers on that route every Saturday on a 150-seat Airbus A320.
In the U.S., American Airlines will introduce a seasonal flight from CLT to Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. That route is also set to begin June 8.
