CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If your car was stolen in North Carolina last year, there’s a good chance you were driving a 2010 Honda Accord.
The popular sedan was named the No. 1 most-stolen car in the state in 2017, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau’s annual Hot Wheels report.

NICB looked at vehicle theft data from the National Crime Information Center to find the make, model and model year that was reported to have been stolen most often last year in North Carolina and across the U.S.
