Woman reported missing in northeast Charlotte found safe, police say

CHARLOTTE — A 77-year-old woman last seen in northeast Charlotte has been found safe and reunited with family, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Mary Grier was last seen walking around Mallard Creek Road and W.T. Harris Boulevard on Saturday.

On Monday, police said she was found safe.

Grier was last seen wearing a red top and red skirt and was carrying a pocketbook. She has cognitive impairment.
