5 Wells Fargo employees test positive for COVID-19

CHAROTTE — There are new cases of COVID-19 reported at Charlotte's largest banking employer.

In a statement, Wells Fargo said five of its employees at the Customer Information Center at 1525 West W. T. Harris Boulevard tested positive for the virus.

The campus in University City has thousands of employees.

The bank said it is supporting the sick workers and disinfecting the buildings.

People who were in close contact with those workers are being told to stay home for two weeks.
