HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A criminal investigation was launched as the number of deaths in a nursing home in Hollywood, Florida, increased to eight on Wednesday afternoon. The home was evacuated Wednesday morning, days after Hurricane Irma knocked out power, creating dangerous conditions for the elderly residents.
