CHARLOTTE — A crash involving a MEDIC truck sent four people to the hospital early Friday morning in north Charlotte, according to paramedics.
It happened in front of the Atrium University Hospital in the University City area just after 1 a.m.

According to paramedics, four people were sent to the hospital due to the crash. But no one was seriously hurt.
A Channel 9 crew was at the scene shortly after the crash. A pickup truck could be seen with heavy front end damage. The MEDIC truck involved did not appear to have noticeable damage.
The cause of the crash is unknown. Channel 9 is working to learn more and will provide updates as they come in.
