CHARLOTTE — Four former Charlotte gang members will soon be free after 31 years in prison. Orrin and Cecil Jackson, Eric Whitener and Gary Davis were prosecuted in the 1990s on drug trafficking and gun charges. An appeals court ruling cleared the way for their release.
