300 CMS employees get COVID-19 vaccinations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and the Mecklenburg County Health Department teamed up to vaccinate CMS employees Thursday.

It wasn’t just principals and teachers who got vaccinated, but also support staff like custodians, bus drivers and nutrition workers.

As part of North Carolina’s Group 3, they weren’t on the list to get their COVID-19 shots until now.
