3 hurt, 2 critically, after high-speed collision in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Paramedics had to rush three people to the hospital after a high-speed crash in west Charlotte early Monday morning.

The wreck happened around 1:15 a.m. on Paw Creek Road when one car traveling more than 100 mph crashed into another car before ending up in someone’s front yard.

Both cars were heavily damaged and MEDIC said two of the three people hurt were in critical condition.

Police have not said if the driver responsible for the crash will face charges.
